Bow Finishing began in 1989 on the back of the booming classic car market, but soon moved to specialise in high-end musical instrument finishing.

The founders learned the finishing trade in the mid-80s at a specialist polyestering firm, before setting up as a partnership to offer polyester, polyurethane, cellulose, and other expertly applied finishes.
