Bow Finishing began in 1989 on the back of the booming classic car market, but soon moved to specialize in high end musical instrument finishing.

The founders learned the finishing trade in the mid-80s at a specialist polyestering firm, before setting up as a partnership to offer polyester, polyurethane, cellulose, and other expertly applied finishes.
